KM in the pharma world

Given the number of people working the knowledge management conferences and publications, it looks like the pharmaceutical industry continues to be interested in knowledge management. Of course, delving into the information more deeply, and there are clearly some companies that are more involved - or more public that they are working on KM.

A useful gauge is the conferences aimed at the pharma industry directly. Taken broadly, this gives an idea of which companies are actively touting their work in this area. Adding magazines and vendor "customer lists," and the picture becomes broader. I end up with more questions that answers, but at least it leads me in the right directions.about every aspect of KM. Thanks to Google, I have been able to combine several of these resources to educate myself as I talk to companies about job opportunities.

I plan to follow-up with some entries on what is happening at various pharmaceutical firms.
