Interesting how Visicalc gets the credit here, isn't it? Electronic spreadsheet programs had been around since the early sixties on large computers so it was really the development of the personal computer and its enhancement of interactivity with the machines that had this impact.</p>

<p>I supose this is just another example of the lack of knowledge on the part of most writers in the flood of personal computing oriented publications about what had already been done in computing,</p> ]]>
