Ego surfing
I don't know why, but I felt like a little ego surfing this morning. This website shows up in the 8th page of Google results for "Jack," behind a wide variety of Jack's from Daniels to Valenti to Kerouac and others. "Vinson" on the other hand pops me in at number 4 today, behind a law firm and two sites related to the former senator Carl Vinson (one about the aircraft carrier, and one about the Institute of Government that carries his name at the U of Georgia). I am the top entry for both "Knowledge Jolt" and "Jack Vinson."
Wow, 8th for jack on google! It is nice to see yourself rank high in google, but even more importantly I like to see how many visitors are coming to my site through those keywords. That's the real butta!
