<p>Thanks for a very good review. You have captured the essence of what I was trying to say, and am very glad that you still found it to be readable and understandable after being cut by 50% under a very tight completion deadline.</p>

<p>I'm currently working on what will be a longer paper reflecting the Popperian autopoiesis back into mainstream biology. To now biologists have essentially ignored autopoiesis, despite the fact that Maturana and Varela originally developed the concept to help them teach biology.</p>
