Great list, Jack...really gets me thinking about the tools I use too.

I've been seeing so many people referencing MindManager lately, but I still haven't done the trial version. I think I'm afraid I'll like it too much and then I'll have to actually buy it!

If you talking about personal productivity tools, I may suggest you to check out ActionOutline for free-form information manager that allows you to put info in and move it around to keep it organized and 1st Clock for alarms/reminders in your taskbar clock. I've used these tools for years and might say that they simplify my life much more than Outlook or any other bloating software.
