Oblique strategies

Dennis Kennedy pointed to something I hadn't seen before: Brian Eno (the musician, producer, and more) created Oblique Strategies, a deck of cards to help unstick the creating process back in 1975.  There have been a few versions of them, and technophiles have created several computer versions.

I love Eno's music (new and old), so I had to go following Dennis' links.  This lead me to the Oblique Strategies fansite and to an (old) Windows app that displays a random card on the screen.  Attach a quick ActiveWord, and when I want to read an Oblique Strategy, I can just 'os' to find one.  Then I need to think about what something like "Do nothing for as long as possible" applies.

Picture a steaming coffee cup. Better yet, grab one and have a read!
