Knowledge as conversation

David Weinberger always has thoughtful comments on a wide range of topics.  Today it is Knowledge as conversation

Knowledge is not the body of beliefs that needs no further discussion. Knowledge is the neverending conversation. And much of that conversation is precisely about what we can disagree about and still share a world.

While David has a different emphasis here, there is a nice connection to my earlier post on Conversation and knowledge that suggests a big chunk of "knowledge management" can be done by better highlighting and using conversation.
