      <![CDATA[ <p>I think that is a great analogy.  Add to it two things though. </p>

<p>1. The pieces are held by different members of the organization and they may or may not be wiling to give them up.</p>

<p>2.  The shape of the pieces are not set solid as with a jigsaw puzzle and how well they merge is variable as well. </p> ]]>

      <![CDATA[ <p>I missed the DomU KM Open House.  What, if anything, was said about jobs in KM in the Chicago Area.  As a DU MS-KM grad I've found it hard to locate KM work.  Does any one know how many people have graduated from DomU with a MS-KM or where/what they are doing for Work?</p>

<p>Funny.  While one purpose of the open house was to discuss the jobs situation, all the speakers focused on their own path and interests with KM.  From the collection, one could have gleaned a sense of several options for people who have studied KM.  </p>

<p>I vaguely recall a small number of graduates (a dozen?) and a smaller number of currently-enrolled students.  There was no discussion about what they are doing now.  All the presenters, except me, were GSLIS graduates.</p> ]]>
