      <![CDATA[ <p>This brings to mind a quote attributed to Winston Churchill:  "Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught."  </p>

<p>I would add to Shawn's list that in addition to being social, learning is "personal," in that what you learn and what you know is yours alone.</p>
