Tell me who you are, please

Rant on: If you are a blogger and you are not anonymous, please tell people who you are!  What is your full name - the name I should use when I quote you?  And please don't make me dig around or try to figure out your name based on your Skype address or the domain name.  Spell it out clearly.

I've blogged several things recently where I had to dig around on their web site to find out what to call them.

Okay, rant over.

I agree, thanks for saying this.

Hmm- Is anonymity intentionl ( a value added proposition) or a technological error on the part of the blogger.. Identity searches fall into the category of ... if you ask the 1 right question you win the prize... my frustration level grows and I move on to another site ( now there is a statement for analysis by poppsychologists).

Thanks, Bob. I generally don't care until I want to say something to or about the blog in question, then I begin to get annoyed. I am usually patient enough to dig through their links to figure out who in the world they are.

And I found the link from my friend, Dennis Kennedy, Should You Make Your Name and Contact Information Easily Findable on Your Blog?. He gives some additional cogent arguments for adding your name to your blog.
