      <![CDATA[ <p>Fascinating case Jack and you have me thinking about "POLICIES" in relation to the "connected intelligence" article. <a href="http://connectedintelligence.wikispaces.com/">http://connectedintelligence.wikispaces.com/</a></p>

<p>In writing about the "impact of one of these policies was more difficult to see" you say:</p>

<p>"After discussing the process a number of times, the realization dawned that they were only preparing enough for the bare minimum of work the following day, on the assumption that wasted time and materials were expensive.  Once this surfaced,..." </p>

<p>Can you please elaborate the nature of the discussions and what it took for the insight to "surface"?  </p>

<p>Did it come through "connecting intelligences"? </p>

<p>And if so, what did it take. Time? Number of people?  Finding the right people?   Other?????</p>

<p>Further insight appreciated.</p>
