      <![CDATA[ <p>Jack, thanks for the kind words!  Much appreciated.  The slides seem to have touched a nerve (in a good way) with several people.  I'm actually struggling to find online references to the slides, so if you know of any, I'd love to to email them to me.</p>

<p>As for my Office 2.0 talk, it's more an evolution from the IIM conference piece.  It will look deeper at the Knowledge Worker 2.0 themselves, examining relationships, motivations, mindset and management around these workers.</p> ]]>

      <![CDATA[ <p>I saw Stephen (for the first time) present at the IIM Conference in Canberra. Very impressive. His presentation on the knowledge worker is something managers everywhere should see. My fear is that managers will either ignore it or fail to understand as they cling to the power-and-control mentality of managerial heirarchies.</p>

<p>Having just read Finkelstein's "Why smart executives fail?", it's not surprising that managerial heirarchies persist with power and control, even in the light of failure!</p> ]]>
