QotD: Thought and action, Dreams and disasters

I heard an entertaining quote this evening, and thought I'd share it with my friends:

Thought without action is a dream.
Action without thought is a disaster. 

I don't find a direct attribution for it, but it seems to be related to a Japanese proverb.  And probably many others.
